Learn, Create, and Take Home Your Custom Board
Our skateboard maker workshops are designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to craft your skateboard decks at home. With small groups of 4 to 15 people, our facilitators can provide personalised guidance and close supervision in a hands-on environment.
At SKATEtotheMAX, safety is our top priority. All facilitators are DBS checked and fully trained in the Roarockit vacuum-sealed process, ensuring a secure and professional setting for all participants.
Throughout the sessions, we foster an open discussion about protective headgear and actively welcome your input on the best practices for safe skateboarding. Join us to learn, create, and ride with confidence!

Decorate a Pre-Pressed Skateboard
Creative Workshop
Price: £60
Join us for an inspiring four-hour session where you’ll design and decorate a unique skateboard deck. Suitable for all ages, this workshop offers a fun and creative way to make a personalised skateboard, perfect for yourself or as a special gift.
What You’ll Do:
Watch a demonstration of how a skateboard deck is made using the vacuum press method.
Sand and prepare your deck for decoration.
Create your own artwork using your design or one of our stencils.
Finish your piece with spray paint, Posca pens, and varnish for a polished look.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a custom-designed skateboard deck ready to take home and enjoy!
Please note that trucks, wheels, and grip tape are not included.

Maker workshop
Join us for an engaging two-day, hands-on skateboard-building workshop designed to inspire creativity and craftsmanship. Each workshop is divided into two sessions, each lasting approximately 3-4 hours, where you'll work in small groups of no more than ten participants.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with a partner to build your own complete skateboard.
Gain practical experience as you learn the full process, from assembly to finishing touches.
Leave with a handmade skateboard, ready to add your own hardware at home.
Workshop Schedule:
Session 1:
Demonstration and overview of skateboard construction.
Glue-up and vacuum pressing of your deck.
Start designing and creating custom artwork for your deck.
Session 2:
Remove your deck from the press and inspect your work.
Sand and refine your skateboard.
Decorate, varnish, and add personal touches.
Your finished board is yours to take home and enjoy! Please note that trucks, wheels, and grip tape are not included.
